Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the StaroleStudio website, desktop application and online account. By using the service, you agree to them.
Accounts
You need an account for official models, credits and billing. Keep your credentials secure and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account.
Desktop license
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to install and use the desktop app. The app may connect to third-party model providers using credentials you supply.
Bring your own keys and official credits
With BYOK, you contract directly with each model provider; their terms and prices apply, and we do not control their availability. With official credits, StaroleStudio resells access through our gateway, and credits are consumed according to the rates shown in the app.
Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans renew automatically until cancelled. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices and included credits are shown before purchase and may change with notice before your next renewal.
Refunds
Except where required by law, purchased credits and subscription periods are non-refundable once used. If something is clearly broken on our side, contact us and we will make it right.
Acceptable use
Your use must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy and with the terms of any model provider you connect. We may suspend accounts that put the service or other users at risk.
Third-party services
The app integrates with third-party models, tools and APIs. We are not responsible for their content, availability or pricing, and your use of them is governed by their terms.
Intellectual property
We own the app, website and brand. You own the content you create, subject to the terms of the model providers used. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate features you enable, such as syncing.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or discontinue features, and will give reasonable notice for material changes affecting paid plans.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law. Provisions that by nature survive termination will do so.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the StaroleStudio entity is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Questions: support@starole.com.
